Rosmah Accorded Title of 'PPM Srikandi Pendidikan Negara' for Commitment in Developing the Education

Merely holding a degree would not guarantee a job as the world required a person to be also skilled, said Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.

The prime minister's wife said this would enable the person to create new things and not just wait for things to happen as employers today, did not just look at the degree but also a person's potential.

"We have to be proactive and not reactive, as like it or not, the world today wants creative and innovative talents.

"If we have the talent, we will be sought by the employers," she said at the launching ceremony of the Malaysian Young Thinkers Association (PPM) Scholarship here today. [...]

Rosmah also reminded youths to realise that they were going to inherit today's leadership to shape the future of the country. As such, they must be ready to bear that responsibility.
