Discovering Beyond Diversity: University of Malaya's International Culture and Education Exchange Programme

University of Malaya's International Culture and Education Exchange Programme SEOUL - From 20th January to 3rd February 2018, 35 delegates represented the University of Malaya on a student exchange program to Seoul, South Korea. Dubbed as ICE 3.0 which stands for the International Culture and Education Exchange Programme, this is the third time the project has been successfully held under the 1st Residential College, University of Malaya. The exchange program this year is held in collaboration with Sungshin Women's University, one of the top private universities in South Korea. Under their "2018 Winter Short-term Programme", delegates were given the opportunity to experience a variety of cultural activities such as K-pop dance, wearing the Hanbok, tea ceremony, making bibimbap and facial make-up. Delegates were also given basic Korean lessons where they learnt to read and write Korean characters, also known as Hangul. This year, ICE aims to become agents of
